Uber Freight

About

Uber was launching their freight delivery arm and needed quality content to match the ease of their platform and service integration. Filming the step-by-step process of Uber Freight and demonstrating the ease of the app was the primary focus, but it was important to capture rad shots and integrate graphics seamlessly. And we wanted the chance to learn all about the trucking industry. Commissioned to create two short form films for Uber Freight’s Deliver ’19 event, West set out to make “Life of a Load”, which visualized how a single load travels from Shipper to Carrier to Delivery, through the use of the Uber Freight app. The second film, “Visualizing your Facility”, captured added benefits that Uber Freight’s data and research offers to partner facilities.

"West came in with a real point of view — they weren't just executing a brief, they were pushing us toward something we wouldn't have arrived at on our own. The final piece ran across ESPN properties and consistently outperformed every benchmark we had for content in that format."
